Silvermine, from the stable of NAC, has launched a wide variety of its Traditional Lamp Collection today, according to a company statement. Padmashri and Sangeetha Saraswathi, Sudha Ragunathan, Eminent Carnatic Vocalist unveiled the collection in the august presence of Jayantilal J Chalani, President of the Madras Jewellers and Diamond Association, Kaliyur Narayanan, Renowned Astrologer, N Anjaneyulu Chetty, Chairman, NAC Jewellers (P) Ltd and N Anantha Padmanabhan, Managing Director, NAC Jewellers (P) Ltd.

The Highlight of the occasion was the unveiling of the 14 feet tall silver Kuthuvilakku by the Padmashri and Sangeetha Saraswathi, Sudha Raghunathan. Apart from the mentioned, lamps are available in Silver, Gold, Gold polished with studded colour stones and Platinum. The prices of the products range from Rs 250 right upto Rs 50 lakh. Silvermine was aiming at offering a joyful experience to its customers of choosing from a vast collection of lamps, made out of different metals, shapes and sizes from across the country . This will be available at the exclusive Silvermine outlet at Mylapore and also at NAC Jewellers, T Nagar.

The booklet traces the history, kind of lamps used in the earlier days and the contemporary designs available now. The booklet will be distributed free to the public.
