Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, India’s largest SUV manufacturer has unveiled XUV5oo Xclusive Edition in Mumbai this morning for a price of Rs.14.48 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai).
The Limited Edition SUV is built on its current top end variant W8, according to a company statement.
Mahindra XUV5oo Xlusive Edition comes with a slew of luxury features such as electric sunroof, convenient reverse camera, voice messaging system, sporty aluminium pedals, stylish grey alloy wheels, six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat (optional), illuminated scuff plates and anti- pinch driver window.

According to M&M, overall only 700 vehicles will me manufctured. Mahindra ‘XUV500 Xclusive Edition’ is available on the W8 model of the XUV500. Needless to say, this vehicle will also have a gamut of world-class, high-tech features of the W8. With regards to performance, the 140 bhp (103Kw) mHawk engine has 330 Nm torque, a six-speed transmission and fifth Generation Variable Geometry. The vehicle has turbocharger technology. Other features include 6” (15 cm) touch screen Infotainment System with GPS, DVD, CD, MP3, FM, USB, iPod connectivity; Driver Information System, Micro Hybrid technology; Fully Automatic Temperature Control with dual HVAC; Static-bending projector headlamps with LED parking lights; Voice Commands, Cruise and Audio Controls on steering wheel; Smart Rain and Light sensors; Tyretronics (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System); intellipark (Reverse Parking Assist System); Power-foldable and adjustable ORVMs.
On the safety parameters, the vehicle has six Airbags (front, side and curtain), Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with Rollover Mitigation, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Hill Hold Control and Hill Descent Control Comfort and Convenience: Flat-folding second and third row seats, lounge-like mood lighting, tilt and telescopic steering.
