The Martini is a cocktail made with gin and vermouth, and garnished with an olive. Over the years, the Martini has become one of the best-known mixed alcoholic beverages. Some say the olive is the best part of a Martini. Martini drinkers often claim that garnishing the beverage with olives gives it an extra kick of flavour.
