Caran d’Ache, the Swiss writing instruments maker, looks to the East for inspiration for its latest collection of Limited Edition Pens, according to a company statement.

Limited to ten exclusive pieces, this writing instrument is crafted from solid gold. The clip of the pen is intricately carved to resemble a bamboo shoot, while the button is set with a Chrysoprase, a soft-green, semi-precious stone that represents renewal and self-confidence.

Caran d’Ache Fountain Pen Harmony is inspired by the teachings of Feng Shui, an integral part of the Chinese Culture. The pen favours the shape of the Bamboo plant, and enveloped in vibrant red Chinese lacquer. Following the theme of Feng Shui, the writing instruments favour the number 8 – representing good health and opulence. The writing instruments are limited to 888 exclusive pieces in the world.
