Pegasus Toy-Kraft Pvt. Ltd. India’s edutainment toy brand that stimulates originality and encourages creativity was associated with Mood Indigo 2013 as their official gaming partner. Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay’s annual college festival, according to a company statement.
Pegasus Toy-Kraft had organised a Checolo tournament. Checolo seamlessly blends two popular games (Sudoku and Checkers) that have grown to be all the rage among avid puzzlers. Participant had to play a two player game of Checolo. Post several rounds of eliminations on day one the best Checolo players competed on day two in the semi finals and finals. The news of the participation spread and a lot of participants came through word of mouth.
When asked about his experience Dr Shyam Makhija, Director, Pegasus Toy-Kraft said: “I was extremely happy with the response that we had at the event. There were a lot of students who found the game interesting and challenging. We are thrilled that Checolo, is part of our growing roster of toys Our innovative designs, and high quality products have set the standards for the gift and toy industries. The winners of Checolo won cash prize and goodie bags from ToyKraft. ToyKraft also had a stall for students interested in board games and metal construction kits. MOOD INDIGO, or MoodI, as it is fondly called, is the annual cultural festival of IIT Bombay. Held towards the end of December every year, it attracts a whopping 88,000 students from more than 700 colleges all over the country.
